Right on, Tim! My youngest son, Riley, has also "grown up" on DPC. His photo has been posted from the day he was born:

and everything in between!

Not nearly the success you've had in challenges, but still my favorite model. :)

Don't even get started on the side challenge entries... I don't think there is enough band width for all of the children's photos!!

A few of my favorites from side challenges...

My youngest (Slice of Life - July)

My youngest (Slice of Life - Dec)

My favorite daughter (my only daughter) from the B&W side challenge

My second oldest son (B&W side challenge)

My Oldest (Slice of Life - 50 days)

A few more random from side challenges...

Ok, ok, twist my arm.

Tim, thanks for getting me to go look at these shots. I'm now happier. :)

(still the best portrait I've ever taken)

(went for it in a free study and got the reaction I expected)

(this might've been a self-portrait, with her making faces at herself in the LCD)

(still love this one)

(really still love this one)

(okay, and this one)

A Big shout-out and gratitude for my oldest son, Chris, who is always willing to do crazy things for me in the name of photographic creativity!! He ROCKS (no matter what the scores say!)

We initially bought our first camera solely to take pics of the kids. There was no alternate plan of entering challenges or starting a business but to capture their every day lives just as any parent would.

Finding DPC was a turning point. We learned how to go beyond taking the everyday snapshot into capturing something a bit more creative. And over the past ___ years our kids have not only grown up in our home but they have grown up in full view of the DPC community...

And on that note, post your “stupid kid shots”. The low scorers, the high scorers, the ones in between. Give a shout out to those whose kids you know from their entries at DPC. Take joy in the images that will last forever, the ones that have meaning. Take joy in your kids.

With minor alterations for quantity of kids and such, I could easily paste this into my own biography without misleading anyone ... ;-)

Some sixty-odd out of my over 500 entries here utilize my son Isaac in one way or another, and a few include his sisters or some friends' kids. I'll have to post the rest of them after I get back from work, but here's the first one ... when he was just about half his current age.

... and one of the latest ...

For all of my half-century of life, I have wanted to have children. Only one in my family who definitely did...and of course...the only one who has none. Looking at all of the photos on this thread brings out the longing in me again. Not so that I could post pictures of Bobby, Billy, Bethany and Shannon (if they even existed) but so that I could feel the love and tell show it to others using pictures, words and actions.

I am incredibly envious of every single one of you and proud to know all of you. Your love for all of your kids (Even Judi tho she seems to contort hers into horribly painful poses LOL!!) is a delight to see. With all of the atrocious things we hear of happening to kids everyday, to find so many people so in love with their own is a pleasure to behold.

Once again... I do love it here!!

And no... I don't babysit!!! ;)

it was my kids that got me back into photography, and it's still a thrill to photograph them. looking through these challenge entries, i see that there's only a few where you can see their faces.

Awwww... it is too bad that they are so camera shy!

Yanko, that was lovely :)

And those beautiful portraits inspired me to show Becky-Lee in one of her more serious, introspective moments...
