During the sign-up phase of this season, 24 teams were created, and 24 of those were finalized. In the end, only 24 teams made the cut.

The teams were seeded by averaging all teammate's received percentiles on their last 10 challenges. If a team member had not submitted to 10 challenges, as many entries were used as available. The highest seeded team was Team Iceland with a seed average of 78.9085%, while the lowest was Team Spleen with a seed average of 31.9049%.
