Well, my Daniel is growing up... I really noticed in this photo (even though the smile is forced), that my "little" boy is starting to change. The roundness and softness of those little boy features is turning into a more square jaw. First time it caught my attention... sigh:)

As they say, "It goes with the territory", but children are always doing something interesting, so we always have something to watch and wonder about. As to when they are the cutest, I always thought, "now".

funny shot .. and interesting ... our gorgeous children can lose that beautiful innocence and childlike wonder as they grow up .. but hopefully that loss is balanced out by other positive changes as they mature .. thank goodness it happens very gradually otherwise we'd be bowled over by the changes !!!!! .. my daughter is 18 .. on the positive side, i can now take photographs from the passenger seat instead of endangering all road users when i try and drive and take photographs at the same time .. !! .. did i say that ?? ... woops .. :)

Interesting, Bud -- I only "know" your kids from recent photos, but this photo made me aware that your oldest is older than I had thought. That was my first reaction even before reading your comments. And the seasons they go round and round.... :-}

Nice late day sun (or early morning). Handsome boy, and as others have said, your kids have great eyes.

Great. So my oldest starts her last year of Pre-School and you have to go and remind me of their chubby cheeks chiseling out. (sob) Very cute boy... love the eyes. And what boy doesn't have some kind of fixed camera grin? Very lovely boy.
