First moment in the pool for the summer! It took some convincing, but I got the girls to do this when they were still dry; they both wanted to dive in.

Lovin' the 5 fps and noise-free ISO 800 on the D200 compared to my point-and-shoots. :) I chose a narrower aperture to give me some leeway on the focal distance.

Inspired by Siggi's excellent shot:

Great shot Jeffrey, I recognize your lovely models now and really have to show great resolve to vote fairly. Most times (to be honest) I skip voting on your entry.
This is a very happy and joyful shot. Great work. Put it in both kids scrapbooks, please.

Very nice color and detail Jeffrey. Since their hair appears dry, I'm assuming you got it on the first try.

saturation is odd...the legs look like fake legs...(the rest of the image is clear however)

Looks like fun. Silly question, but why are the feet orange on the child on the left?

Edit to add: I am having a serious problem with left and right in comments in this challenge. yipes. I meant feet on the right.

What a fun shot... and you captured it on the first try? All of the hair and clothing still looks dry!

Hm, the figure on the left of the photo - is that a swim suit with sleeves? Personally I am not comfortable wearing a bikini as most people seem to be, and I'd be interested in something like that.. is there a link to somewhere online that has those? (You can PM me if you'd like).

As for the photo itself it is full of energy and life! It makes me smile to think of how much fun the girls seem to be having.. the happiness is contagous! In addition, great colors, and nice relating to the challenge by having the swim suits be similar patterns. Lighting is nice too.. really makes the water sparkle (and makes me thirsty, hehe!).
