Okay, so they're not exactly on the third line intersections, but each of their four eyes are pretty close to being on one of the lines.

And yeah, they're my kids, so I think they're cute.

And yeah, the focus isn't perfect. Or the lighting (overhead light plus onboard flash dialed down to -1).

But what the heck, I think it's a cute pic, and I like the diagonals. Let's see what the voters think. :)

I was thinking exactly the same thing as Ursula -- love the freckles. Like the hair too. Really cute girls.

As for the rule of thirds, it is hard to see here, but except in a rule of thirds challenge, that doesn't matter -- not meant to be seen. The benefit of the rule of thirds is good composition, and that has worked in this case.
