Heck, I don't recognize your girls with their hair covered up!!! Very nice shot. I especially like it ... cuz I'm a quilter too.
Love the INTENSE concentration you captured.

Jeff, this is a wonderful shot. I can't imagine why anyone would rate it 1 or 3 unless they were mixed up about the rating scale -- thinking 1 it top. The focus on the needle is dead on. Perhaps some people wanted the focus on her eyes. Something about the hands doesn't look quite right, maybe too much noise reduction and sharpening. Anyway, I really like the concentration in her face, and the eyes crossed trying so hard to see the eye of the needle.

silly and remarkable at the same time. We focus with her. This photo is so striking for some strange, subtle reason. 9

Gee great shot...Just opening it made me furrow my brow in concentration, trying to will that thread through the needle. Not sure if it is my monitor or not but some of the skin tones (especially on the girls right hand) seem to have gone a touch awry in PP

There is a lot of noise on her face....I also think it is a little close

Eyes look a bit over sharpened.
