It's nice to see this thread full of everyone's top 4 shots. There is an incredibly wide variety. I think the main way my top shots are similar is that they show my background in design as evidenced by the simple us of geometry and angle of composition or something of that nature.

Aye, they maybe show your background in design..but they don`t show your skill on the pool table...I bet you missed that shot :)

No Way! I make that shot EVERY TIME! Of course, I was informed that it is an illegal shot if playing under the proper rules of the sport. Truly upsetting news. I may owe some people some money...:) |

I wish I`d known that this was an illegal shot at the time..I`d have asked for a DQ on the image. :)

I am new to site and photography really. Can someone explain what "Neatimage" is? When reading how a certain shot it taken, some people say they used "Neatimage" in the editing? Thanks. |

Not sure if I really have anything similar. 2 of the 4 have me in them, but I'd have to say that if there were a similarity, NONE of them won anything. lol |

No ribbons..we have interior, exterior, b&w and color.High shots, low shots, good shots and bad shots. Some taken 5 feet from where i sti, others 40 miles.
The only constant is that they were good ideas, obvious to the challenge they were in. So my Serendipity entry will not be bumping any of these 4 me thinks. LOL

My top 4 all have blues and browns as the dominant colors, not much red-yellow-green.

My top 4 really dont have much in common i think.....
Edit..3 of them are kinda dark...and in fact most of the stuff I do seems to be on the darker side, I guess thats part of my style or something

Only submitted two so far with my old Kodak compact. Hope to come up with photos of similar quality to many on this thread.
Even still, motoring!!!

Three images of the outdoors, from the Niagara Falls and Youngstown, NY, areas, ...and one of eggs. So what am I trying to hatch here?
(Edited to correct some speklling errors;-)

About the only resemblance I can see is that there's not a living thing in any of them.

Two set up shots and two "found"

Um... they all have even-numbered IMAGE_ID's?
Seriously, the main commonality is these are the four shots to which I dedicated the most time to getting just perfect from concept to final submission. #1 is a shot I had been working on periodically for a couple years.

Three of the four are outdoors, but then I'm an aspiring wildlife photographer. |

Two have white :) backgrounds, two don't. They all could stand to be neatimaged!
This is fun. It's interesting seeing everyones top four in the same thread.

Here̢۪s my four. My second best was my first to enter on DPChallange. Got lucky with my best, that snow was only around one day. And it came at just the right angle to hit the trees perfectly for the shot.

Here are mine

The lighthouse in the second and third shots is the same one, just different vantage points. It's such an easy place to shoot that I have to fight the urge to return again and again.

I think I´m another exception: one building, one flower in the other side, one nude and one nigh-shot |
