| This is a good picture to submit - nice balance, good colors, good focus and great depth of field. The light blue of the sky and water is perfect. Using the 6pt star filter worked well too, and, I like that you didn't allign the star effect straight up and down. 2pt, 4pt, 6pt and 8pt filters have been around for a very long time though. If you really want to make a picture jump out with a star effect consider using one of the Hollywood FX series of star filters by Tiffen that don't have typical geometry. My favorite is the Hyperstar (other three are Vector Star, Hollywood, and North Star) and although they cost $180 new, you can frequently find them for allot less on ebay. Hope this helps. | Fantabulous night shot! I love the slight color saturation. Warm and cool at the same time. I wouldn't change a thing in the composition either. I'm glad you kept all of the water reflections. 9 |
