I have now added detailed info on my Heron shot. I submitted it a bit too quickly last night and forgot all about including details.
Sorry guys:) |

Everyone is doing great! Some great photos and I've gotten a few really nice comments. I will be doing some commenting tonight myself.
I was tracking my score on this one all week, so I figured I would use it as my image today :)

This is a redtail I shot quite awhile ago but decided to re-edit it today ... I did a little noise reduction on him and it took away some of the crispness (mistake maybe) but I am playing with a new plug-in .... a hummingbird was buzzing him and the next thing I knew, he had it in his mouth... 5.6 - 1/2000 & ISO 100 -
This is the full frame shot I think but I can't find the original ... I was shooting with a 70 to 300 lens ... not a very good lens but it was all I had at that time .. I had been watching the redtail for a long time, over 2 hours, and it was flying from the top of a building to the trees, all the time being buzzed by the hummers ... it just didn't seem to see me. If I find the original I will update the post. The ISO was 200, not 100 as posted ... sorry about that ... I just looked in bridge ... the other info is correct ... I didn't save for web so maybe the exif info is still on it and it will tell more ... I shot it at 02/22/06 so I don't really remember other than I sure was excited.
Found the original ... here it is and thank you for your comments and suggestions - I have another shot of the red, just before capturing the hummer.

Taken early August. Not quite up to roz's standards, unfortunately -- I think I need to get some extension tubes.

This is the venomous Banded Sea Snake. It's the best picture I could get as he was gliding in and out and through the coral in the reef.
