Took this in the Bahamas. I would have really loved this if it was a little more in focus, especially his hand. Oh well...

Seeing the light from below like this, you must have been near water or white sand or both when you got this shot. The one leg and foot add a lot of interest, and lead to the eye and face, and the focus actually works to do the same. These critters are also pretty common in the lower Florida Keys, where they have gone wild from being pets. People there don't like them because they eat almost every flower that they can get to.

I'm going to gobble that camera up and when I'm done with that, I'm coming for you... lol

He looks a tad angry!

Great sharp capture.

Hi Tammy. I don't mind the DOF at all because the eye is sharp, so it draws the attention. I don't know if this is full frame or cropped, but his fingers are cut off a little bit. If it was a crop I would like to see a little more room in front of him, you could place his eye on the top left third. As is I think the composition is good because you avoided placing him in the center of the frame.

Bright colors- nice perspective climbing up and almost wouldn't of noticed his hand had u not mentioned it as drawn right to his face which is fantastic..

I'd love to come across one of these guys in the wild. What an opportunity.

What a great find - The green of his/her body really pops and you have great detail on the face ... I don't mind the foreground bokeh - I think it adds to the shot. Nice to see them in their natural habitat

His eye is pretty sharp, and the perspective is wonderful! I only see these guys as captive pets so it's cool to see one in the wild.
