Forgot about this one that I really liked that didn't do well. I think it was one of those, doesn't meet the challenge votedowns.
This got a 4.9. But the comments made me feel better, especially Heida's, who said it was one of the best in the challenge:
Edit: I really must proof read before I submit!

my genius has been unrecognized :-) i was so happy to submit this ... until about 5 minutes into voting ... after that, not even these play-doh people could cheer me up.

I can't - it's in a current challenge.
Edited for this one:

Most people just didn't appreciate my birthday card to Jacko, although it did get favourited from the b-day boy himself!

I've done a mini series of this particular technique since the "Breaking New Ground" challenge. It bombed, but I did get some(8) very encouraging comments.
Window Theory from the Book challenge was my first attempt at this technique. |

I think Rachel should have rated a little higher.

Some thought it was trash; others "got it" ;-) Whether it was art or not - well, it was at least fun to do... :-)

This is one I was proud of that basically got panned...oh well. I guess the green background did me in...
This is one of my favorites (favorites of my shots that are on this site, that is...I like it much more than many of the other shots I have on here, and this is one of the worst, score-wise).

I think this was robbed:
Maybe it my LCD, but I failed to see the yellow cast on this one.
And in Pink, someone commented that he can see red/orange, not pink.

Hey, I'm a very selective voter and I gave that one a 10 also :-) Put it in my favorites too, I think. If not I am going to...
And Laurie was robbed big time....
Robt.

I have not put this in a challenge, but ppl who have viewed this picture have said some nasty things...I thought it was a great depth picture and in B&W made it classic...

I was after a high key/white out effect to show a recent avalanche.
I used a small little village house and left just a portion of the chimney sticking out in the shot.
While most of the comments were favorable it did not do well in the Movie Titles challenge Place: 177 out of 322.

I think the first two a terrific photos, but that you got hit for not hitting the voters over the head with the challenge theme. NOT because they aren't great images. The third just doesn't do a lot for me personally.
