This is a statue! The spot lighting on this made it such that I could decrease the light and increase the contrast, and it began to take on "life"!

Original shot was taken for submitting to the B&W contest, but when I was playing with levels, I saw this version, and I thought it might fit heroes.

Also, because this was advanced editing, I was able to remove a sign behind her head (in the library) and an electrical outlet on the wall.

Hope you like it. I left the negative space because I thought it added more drama.

I can tell you had a great idea. The composition is off to a good start, but there is so much negative space I'm not sure it works as well as you might have intended. The girl herself seems a bit blurry. I find I'm wishing for a closer view.

This photograph shows a lot of creativity.. but no real connection to "heroes" in my book.

This is a great "old school" photo. You can look into this as much as you like. It's got the lot for me, but also lots of room for text as a dps.

I like this image quite a bit. I don't personally believe the image tells the story other than having the title with it, but it is a fine photo.

I think there is too much negatvie space in this picture. Maybe a different crop would have worked better. Just my opinion.

Far too much dead space on the right, otherwise a moody and unique shot.
