Staggeringly poor score here, but I think your own post-challenge comment is correct. Likewise I'd like to re-inforce what JJ says.

To add to my earlier comment, I meant to say that I appreciate compositionally the almost perfectt banding into the 'thirds' lines image right ... it was more a question of weight, really. That's what lost you the one point from me that would have given you a ten otherwise.

I love this shot...... the moody contempletive foreground is perfect framing for that distant horizon.

A very satisfying composition with a nice touch of ironic humour.

Nice, but foreground a bit too dark for me.

Nice work. Not sure about the sheer amount of the silhouetted foreground - losing more than half of it would give you a stronger compositional shape across the frame from the tree to the table to the very parallel lines between ground and horizon ... just a thought.

a good example of the rule of thirds in action.

It can't quite stand on it's own without a title or detail. The spots on the horizon are distracting.

Nice composition. I would have probably avoided to include the trunk on the left, to put more emphasis on the tableau.

The contrast is beautiful on the water and on the sign, but on the foreground the loss of detail is just that- a loss. great composition.. 7

Shot has a great emotive quality to it, the dark portion of the water on the horizon is especially inviting, there is a peaceful calm to this shot which is enticing.

In my opinion, there is too much for the bottom part
