From Sept 2007. Suggestions for processing?
I now know why I never processed this. I lose the tranquility and don't much like it.

		Week 2:

This was taken 20th July 2003 with a Fujifilm 6900Z. The actual shot was exactly as seen, the spent cartridges and feathers were scattered just as the shooter had left them.

I picked another from the August 23, 2006 folder. I'll try to move on to a different folder for next week. :-) This is from the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. The original, the edit, and a wildly different kind of thing:

I must say, I am REALLY happy I joined this group. Going through old photos has been very rewarding already, and I have found several photos that I am now much happier with than when I first took them. Huge thank you to nshapiro for setting this up. |

Week 3. Slow shutter speed at dusk, narrow DOF, still a challenge in JPG. I'll try to make more comments in the next few days.

		PGerst - Week 2

See previous posting above for original

This was a very difficult edit. Mostly, because back then, I was only shooting in M mode, instead of using the full resolution, AND I had a very cheap kit lens. Not the nice tamron I have now.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I just couldn't leave the ocean out, I tried, but it seem to lose a lot. So I tried to place the boat and the horizon at 1/3 positions.

Here's my second week image and original. Not too thrilled with what I got out of this one. It was a very low contrast image and I couldn't get what i had envisioned out of it.

Here's my original for the 3rd week. I think this one has a lot of potential.
