 Here is my edited image for week 2.

Adjust WB in RAW
Sharpen slightly
Increase clarity
Convert from RAW
PScs3
Duplicate background
Shadow & Highlight
Levels (kept on top of all other layers)
LucisArt 1/24 and then mask out background to remove noise created by Lucis
CEP 3.0 Classical soft Focus - mask out beetle
CEP 3.0 Indian Summer - mask out beetle
Flatten these layers
5mm black border using 'Layer, Layer Style, Stroke, Inside, Normal blend, 100% opacity
Logo, Image size, sfw

The colours are stunning, and your crop helps to tighten the image around the beetle. I just with the DOF was a little bigger.

While the orignal is lovely with all that green, I love your choice of changing the background to the orange tones, it really makes the little metallic green bug pop a lot more, and is tied in nicely by the streak of gold on the bug. Fantastic!

love the way you've made the bug really pop out'v the background by changing the background colours .. the crop is great .. he's so much more 'in your face' with your processing .. just excellent .. :)

So much better in this edited version. The main focus is the bug and he really has come up well, good detail, sharp and colours more vivid. A real winner:)
