Well many people want to see the originals and have that been one of the factors in their voting scheme for this one particular challengeâ€Â¦but not the only thing you should look for. So I will start it off and all others that want to participate can show their original and people who don’t wellâ€Â¦they should even be reading thisâ€Â¦haha. Anywaysâ€Â¦here we go.

PLEASE give us time to at least read and discuss the ticket you submitted. As I said in the other thread, we are discussing it and would truly appreciate a bit of time to make a decision.

Well, didn't quite make the original score. I did, certainly, push the envelope with the processing, but I like it. It looks like a painting.

Just want to say thanks for all the fantastic comments and favorites everyone! I'm really glad I ribboned with this one. It's nice to know that I'm actually learning stuff here. :-) As much time as I spend here, it'd be pretty sad if I wasn't. LOL!

I thought my original was pretty good - until I saw it next to my Take 2 entry. This I believe is the best picture I have ever taken. Thank you all for the votes. Pretty pleased with a .85 improvement.

Rather wish the voting could have been based on improvement and original context rather than comparative wow factor. But hey, I guess .6 is an improvement by technicality, right?

My score is only a touch better this time around, but I KNOW it's a better photo, so I'll just ignore the score and enjoy my improvements.

Thanks! I was really happy with it but more importantly Ellie was thrilled with it. We took it right after a soccer game, she was all sweaty and tired but hung in there like a trooper!

I wish we could do this again and our title has to be the ID Number for the photo we are re-shooting, when I could find the original I based my score partly on the amount of improvement from the original, as it should have been for this challenge. Hey, live and learn, right? LOL

No where was it mentioned that it should be part of the comments. Most people post additional items in the comment section at a later time ;)

Original 5.761 (and I got 2 favorites out of this one)

Do-over 6.032 (alas..no favs this time around.)

But at least I bested my original score. I also got some very nice comments and critiques. Thanks for taking the time to vote AND comment. I DO appreciate the comments. They help me become a better photographer. (obviously THIS time around)
