Hello there. I need to update my profile, my pic, my everything. I've continued to maintain my membership, but have been through a lot since my active participation here. Here's some of my story for the last number of years... (Don't we all have one!) I'm not trying to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I do want to share why I've been absent for so long. I love it here and I feel like I owe y'all somewhat of an explanation. This site helped me get my start in photography and taught me so much from day one. I owe you all so so much and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The people here have been so generous and helpful, that I can never repay them for their knowledge, care, and friendships. I have made lifelong relationships that I will cherish forever.
While caring for my grandparents I picked up a Gateway 5MP camera and began my journey with photography. It was a whirlwind of passion and a rebirth of creativity. I was able to share my love of nature and freedom while finding some artistic and financial success.
I had to give up this pastime while I was caring for my parents, who died within 10 months of each other, so it hasn't been an easy number of years lately. And I am still trying to take care of, and finalize, the estate business. I hope to find my passion for photography again and become a more active member here now. Thank you for listening and I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful, beautiful work again soon!!! |
