Just a few minutes before rollover and I am really surprised how this did. This was a recent session of a cute 6 year old girl. Had fun with her big blue eyes, and serious expression. Didn't shoot for this challenge, however I love black and white portraits and was hoping something could fit. I am glad it was so well received.

Rowan is having her first ballet recital next friday and her dress rehearsal is today. I am hoping to capture something along these lines of her and one of her friends as well. I love this image. The light is lovely. What did you have on camera left? Just a reflector?

You sure do a superb job with pretty young ladies. (Oh, that sounds awful, but I mean it in the very best sense) I love this shot and the rest of your work.

Congrats on the blue! This is a beautiful portrait. The puffy skirt in the background frames her face well.

This is such a beautiful portrait and I thought it was a perfect example of how a black and white conversion really enhances the photo. Although I suspect the color version is also magnificent. Those big eyes look so amazing. Congrats on the blue!

Stunning, Beautiful, WOW... Your processing is weird and strange and I love it! Very Unique Photo! Ummm after reading the B/W thread I think I should elaborate on the weird/strange comment.. To me your subjects head and espically the eyes are out of proportion to the rest of her body, The eyes drew me into the photo, then my eyes were drawn around the face and finally off to the hands shoulders and background. I found that a very enjoyable journey around a photo! ( I am also very curious as to how you did this) I hope you are scoreing well with this, Personaly I am all about the eyes in a photo, to me they set the whole mood.

Outstanding. Probably (to me) the best in the challenge. The centering of her face is perfect here. I like the symmetry of her arms to add that sense of balance. Love the catch lights and the lighting is smooth and suits her sweet face. The tutu in the background is a great backdrop and helps add to the story of this portrait. Nice work. 9

Glorious, but for me her eyes a bit too processed and "buggy". Regardless, this should do very well. Beautiful framing and balance. Not to mention tones. Reminiscent of ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', '/') + 1) . ' njsabs
