What was your first challenge score? Who remembers? I just did my first challenge and am hanging in there at a whopping 4.6 which doesn't really seem HORRIBLE but I know I have a way to go!

Mine was 4.582 with this little beauty. LOL! :)

mine was actually a 5.9--
but it all went downhill from there!

5.391 with a point and shoot 2 MegaPixel..
After uprgrading to a 300D
My 2nd challenge scored a 5.9
And then finaly after upgrading to a 350D I won my 1st ribbon Maybe you need another camera ;)

Mine was a 4.392. I sent too small of a photo and got hammered. I learned from there however I still have issues with most of my photo's It's a constant learning experience for me.

Mine was 5.48 I believe with this shot - Best of all I learned lots since then and more and more every time I find the time to enter..

I scored a lovely 4.187 on this masterpiece back in March of '04. My second lowest score to date, btw. I beat that one a month later in the Serendipity challenge. I think I've learned a thing or three since then. ;)

I got a whopping 3.695 and that was only because the artists on this site are kind and merciful..
Granted, I'm not leaping great digits past that yet...

mine got a whopping 3.343 way back in the early days of DPC. I have learned alot since then.

I scored 5.66  . I wouldn't worry about your first score too much - it seems that just about everyone here started out with an average shot and improved.

Depends on what you mean by first challenge. The first one I entered I just threw a photo up that I found on my hard drive. I wasn't really sure what the site was about. The next thing I entered was the sticker contest which wasn't really a challenge. The first challenge I entered where I read the challenge description and went out and took a photo was this one...
 7.502
...so, this is the one I consider my first challenge.

I am REALLY embarrased about my first challenge entry. My husband had given me my first digital camera for my birthday. It was VERY cheap. It came in LAST place for the Fruits and Vegtables challenge in 2002.
