The inside of my washing machine. This photo is part of a series of 3, but I think this has the widest range of textures.

I can see what you wanted to achieve with this but something is putting me off the image as a whole, I think it's going to be something silly like the scratches, I know it sounds picky but when I sit back and look at the image my eye keeps getting drawn to them, sorry.

A little too bright for me in the upper left.

This photo is almost a bit spooky! I can almost see a face in the upper part of this, and an arm branching out and downward...

There's an interesting pattern of holes in this picture but the whole left side looks too bright and takes away from the focal point.

this looks almost like a painting! :-)

Sunlit metalic surfaces are notoriously hard to shoot, expecially in available light and you did a good job. You shot yourself in the foot a little however by not using all the file size allowed. Your picture isn't as sharp as it could be.

I like the different 'textures' on this. The lines are nice too. The left side is a little too over-exposed for me.

Interesting form with nice lines. However, I don't think that soft focus works well with texture. Also the washed out lower lrft hurt this shot for me. But thats just me :)

NOTE : Upon adjusting my monitor, I now see the soft focus was my monitor, not your photo... Sorry about that! Still a bit washed out on the left, but I'm bumping you 2 to a 6... Again, sorry!

makes me feel squeamish, I wonder if this picture would read better left-to-right if it was horizontally flippped

That's interesting, but a little washed out on the left. If that is what you wanted, good job, if not maybe play with different ways of lighting things. karmat

This would be a more powerful image with some even lighting

Great shot! Very modern arbitrary subject matter.

Fun but somewhat flat.
