These shots are excellent and while they never stood a chance on DPC, I think they are engaging pieces of art. I would love to see more work like this fill the challenges (and I wish I took more shots like these)

Definately a lot of very good images got lost in this one. Here are a few of my top rated images which ended up in 140th or lower.

I like these, but I think some of them went a little over the top with the post-processing. I think the voters sometimes look at simplicity and natural wonders to the eye.
