 Thanks for the comments all. The picture was taken at the Woodly Park/National Zoo Metro station in Washington DC. It was actually done hand held! No tripod :)

Using the guideline that you can use a shutterspeed no slower than the focal length of the lens, a .3 was just fine while using my buddies 10mm wide angle lens.

I like the perspective and the sense of urgency of the people with the use of motion blur. The title combined with the motion makes for a great message. Bumping up!

Good use of leading lines. It's too bad about the glare from the flash bringing the eye down wards. Perhaps next time your in a simular situation, frame the image with the end point in the center of the picture. Good luck!
