To answer some of the questions below...
Nubble Light is in York ME
The Cape Neddick Nubble is the name for the rocky island that the lighthouse sits on.
The light is red! The color and timing of a lighthouse is refered to as it's characteristic. The lights can vary between white, green, red or combinations of each. By knowing the different characteristics of lighthouses in an area you can pinpoint your location. If they were all the same they would be a much of a navigation aid. Nubble light's characteristics is 3 seconds red followed by 3 seconds dark.

| Very nice capture. Not sure if the cloud striations is a distraction or not... Im leaning towards I don't care for them much. It looks like a Red light from behind the rock as well. Not quite in line, but it is still very nice all the same. |

| Very nice picture. Did you process the red reflection to make it stand out so much? In my opinion it would have been better with a more subtle reflection. Still, it should finish with a good score, good luck |

I like the composition on this and the presence of the structures on the rock.
My eyes keep being drawn to the rock in the foreground and also the mid-section of the red reflection that is sharp vs. the area above & below where is is smooth/blurred. |

| Ooohh, gotta love that silky smooth water and reflection! that rock at the bottom though, just seems to be luring my attention away from the lighthouse, which I presume you placed as you main subject. |

| wonderfull pretty nice clairity on the lighthouse and keepers house and the red reflection adds a great touch. where is this lighthouse? |

| This is lovely. The red glow is nice although it doesn't seem to be coming from the lighthouse, that looks like a white light (as I thought all lighthouse lights were). In any case this is in my top 20. |

| I love the effect of the water but feel you've included too much sky in this. If you can reshoot, I'd try to include more of the ground instead. Otherwise cropping to a different aspect ratio would make a difference. |

This is damn near perfect, holy cow!! What time of day/nite was this, the sky and reflection are AMAZING..

| Very well seen. I would crop out some of the sky and put the horizon at the top third. Also, the rock at the end of the reflection in the water is a distraction and I am not sure about the pink halo around the light... |
