I've just been flicking through the 628 or so images, mostly on thumbnail size, and yours just caught my eye. I love it, and I dont even really yet know why. Lets see......there is such mood and feeling to it, for some intangible reason. The diffuse glow, the desaturation, even the little foreground grasses, just make it a lovely whimsical moody photograph, full of emotion, but done with such restaint. Well done.

I really ejoy this image. Maybe a touch to much light on her forhead. but very nice over all.

Very nice backdrop for this portrait. The slightly desaturated colors look really nice. Since she's smiling it would be nice if she was looking a little more towards the camera. Well done!

I like this shot, the composition and reduced tones that go well with the notalgic background, but needs some texture in her skin in my opinion. (too plastic-looking from noise reduction maybe?)

Interesting pp, however, the reflections are a bit distracting.

I like this photo. I also think this photograph would have been perfect in the PASTEL challenge.

i like a lot about this; the colours, very much in the vein of coloured up black and white photos, are very nice and inviting. the pose, though obvoiusly posed, feels natural and, er, not posed. it feels joyous and happy. the car is also very photogenic, and fits in nicely. the noise reduction and or diffuse glow though feels excessive - in fact, i think a bit of grain would have a pleasant effect here... still, a nice portrait; and i like / appreciate the tongue in cheekness of the title. 7.

Kinda looks like Gretchen Wilson, I like the soft proccesing, this woulda done really well in Pastels also..

I really like the treatment you've applied to this. I hope you give us details after voting is over. It works particularly well here.

great colors. dont like the border though.

She is very cute. I like the softness of the image and she makes it stand out very well.

I like the treatment you did with the muted colors here. It suits the image very well. I love the light falling on her upturned face (and it helps that her chest is shadowed so you don't emphasize the neckline) I wish her feet weren't cropped out, though.

bumper on bumper. That is what I would have titled it. 7

Nostalgic sense. Almost looks painted. The diminished colors works well to help create the mood of long ago. 7

I like what you did with this. good luck.
