yay! i love this shot! i'm sure it's going to tank. (no pun intended.)

i was going to try to do a double exposure with a real goldfish, but i'm just lazy and inexperienced with this fancy new camera. so these are printed on cardboard and propped up on a stick. :)

the bowl is actually flat on one side so it can go up against a wall (? i guess). my original idea was to have a round bowl with water next to the whole setup, but i think this works even better. thanks, petsmart!

post-challenge: 4 years and 3 months since a ribbon? that has to be some kind of really really lame record.

thanks everybody! :)

way to go, perplexing to soak up... ;} good find on the bowl - though the lower/upper left corners sort of give away that it isn't cut in half - but i know for a fact these illusions are tough to shoot...

Congrats. Great idea and execution. Unfortunately this reminds me of a little accident I had this week when my little ecosphere with shrimp broke while shooting my Low Key entry (a light fell on it). I had them for several years and there were just two left, which strangely enough is the same number of fish you have in this shot.
