Thank you everyone for your comments on this image! This is a picture I had been wanting to make for a while. Thanks are due to a lot of people: my model Mansi whose eyes I have been wanting to photograph since I met her :); sgauria and manic for helpful post-processing comments, librodo whose excellent portraits are the reason i got interested in portrait photography, and many other people here, notably john setlzer, from whom I have learnt a lot of things, both post-processing and otherwise....

Beautiful!
Improvement suggestions: image is too hot on the left side. I would not crop it though as the composition is perfect as it stands right now. Perhaps a slight curve adjustment would have helped.
Eyes - there is a light reflection in the retinas - something you could have tried to ameliorate by cloning or burning...
Still think that this will end up in top 10%. |

| eyes are too bright not enoufh dept and pupals are too sharp instead keep some grey in eyes and up saturate the color |

| Eyes, scarf, excellent. Eyes -- incredible. The white space on the left I'm not liking so much. I would have preferred it cropped more on the left with possible white space on the right -- the direction she is looking, sort of. |

| Those eyes are absolutely hypnotic. Great lighting and just love this photo in general. Reminds me (as does another in this challenge) of a very famous National Geographic photo of the Afgan woman. |
