    Biography: Where to start:

Went to kindergarten, my brother bought a camera about that time...a Minolta 110 film camera, I loved it when he would allow me to play with it. At a garage sale I was able to purchase my first very own camera at age 9 for $1. It took 126 cartridge film.

Around the time I was 17 I took some earnings from my hostessing job at the local Bob Evans and bought myself a cheap 35 mm from WalMart, a Vivitar I still had until last year when I garage saled it (and regret doing it now as my older daughter is really interested in photography and it would've been a good learner camera). It took "eh" pictures but it worked.

Eventually I graduated to the SLR world, my first SLR was in 1991, one of the first EOS bodies. It came with "plastic fantastic" prime 50 mm. I LOVE THAT LENS. Eventually my husband got me another EOS to take color pix of the girls (the old one I dedicated to B&W usage). For as much as I love film I never really learned it to my liking.

My camera addiction has progressed from there. I was very hesitant to enter the digicamera world because of cost and questionable image production for the longest time but around 3 years ago I got really interested in it. We bought one of the first Olympus 5050Z cameras around and I fell in LOVE. I love the flexibility and the learning curve provided with digital! I got a 20D this past May and feel like I've made leaps & bounds since then. I am now fully immersed in the world of Photoshop, which I was very resistant to doing, but now I'm in love.
