Thank you for the nomination Karen:-)

While some of my top scoring choices made it to ribbon or top 10 status there are others I wished placed higher. So I would like to shine a spotlight on them and give a little more exposure:-)

 Seconded on this one

And I had failed to read the full meaning of this one until now:-( Now I really like it now that I understand the concept behind it.

		My Order of the Thumb

In A Single Tree II was awarded to Melethia for an outtake:

She clearly knows better than me; the 'intake' scored a ribbon.

I am very proud and honored to receive the Order of the Thumb for my little blurry tree. I really did give serious thought to entering him in the challenge. There are occasions, though, where I don't want a particular shot to be slaughtered. This was one such occasion. That, and I had a pretty darn good shot that I figured to be a bit more DPC friendly. I like that one, too. :-)

And I haven't mentioned it lately, so I'll take the opportunity now - many, many thanks to those of you who take the time to really look at pictures in the challenges and bring them here to share. This is by far one of my favorite places to visit at DPC!! |
