 This is from a 5-minute challenge at Dean Zulich's workshop at SPA earlier this month. We literally were timed, and had a whopping 5 minutes to come up with the concept and get results with one strobe only (I chose a softbox). Was really tough/intense, but I love the results. This is Leah - she was outstanding.

On the final product, I'll completely black out the border, but wanted to make sure that I didn't get nailed for adding space, so I ket it as an actual border.

A bit unusual for a Free Study, and just hoping it will stand out. :O)

There may be many good pictures in the challenge, but there
are few which you create a warm resonance within you. As I was browsing the free-study for such pictures, I came across this. You might have only 5 minutes to come up or create this picture. But what you have done is wonderful (at least, a 10 from me!)

The contrast between the quiet, almost serene, calm mannequin and the aggressive 'in your face' pose of the model is well handled and provides for an interesting image.

This looks fantastic. I'm not really liking that the edge of the border on top is clearly visible while the border on bottom fades up seamlessly into the shot, though the unusual shot and dramatic feel make up for it. Very cool work.
