so I missed 5.
Day 6:
yea it's kinda cheaty doing these split screens but this one worked so well like that again. neither image worked as a square crop!

Day 7 - Unlucky 7 (aka DNMC)

Here on DPC you really need to read the description, not just look at 'em. The 24 hour speed challenge Lucky 7 was posted last night, I looked at the description and was on my way.
After submitting this shot at half an hour to roll-over, I was filling in the required fields...glanced up and actually read the description which stated "Take a photograph which contains exactly seven of the main subject". Oops, has DNMC written all over it. Needless to say I unsubmittied just in time.
Quite fitting, instead of being the lucky guy holding the deed to board walk I ended up being the guy who rolled the 7.
ED: This was to be a challenge entry; Square crop would not have worked here.

Yesterday it was a trip down to Point Lookout State Park in Southern Maryland to try to catch some crabs. We came away with six that were eating size. And I came away with two image for the 50 day project. The winning image was on I took in the camp store.
And the losing image was one I got along the shore of the Chesapeake bay.
The park has a long history as a tourist stop and as a Civil War prisoner camp. Now is it a park for camping, fishing, crabbing, swimming, and boating.

I wanted to combine them in a diptych, but I'm too lazy this morning -you'll just have to look at them individually. I skipped yesterday, but I did manage to comment on a lot of photos, didn't I? :o) |
