 Day 8, Creature Day

There's a small patch of lawn in front of my apartment, and I went out there and saw at least five frogs, some of them very young and small. I shot off twelve pictures and had a hard choice for today's selection.

I sometimes wish I could get more DOF...

Fantastic color and clarity! This is great, but I do agree with you about a bit more DOF -- I wouldn't mind seeing all of him in such great detail :-)

fantastic shot .. i love the dof in this ..hmmm f1.7 ? .. i checked out your other photographs and the sigma 28-80mm lens .. looks like an excellent lens .. you've done some amazing close-ups of insects with it and scenes etc etc etc .... you have a very wow portfolio .. :)

I like the shallow dof here. It really helps to emphasize the frog's eyes.

Oh, what a cutie, and so well-photographed. LOVE the sharp focus on his eye. I understand about the desire for greater DOF, but this is still a wonderful shot.
