Well, this is my only female dog, Jeannie. We got her (and Cheif [coming soon])from a rescue facility near here after my dear Albert was murdered. She was skittish around kids at first, but my boys were very very patient with getting her to come around and now she prefers kids to adults :)

I have NO idea what kind of dog she is... I just know she is a very good dog. I realize she looks a little frumpy here but I think she had been off playing with Cheif in the woods before I got home this morning :)

A very good natured little dog and deserves every bit of attention we give her :)

So nice that you have another dog to pamper and share love with

Photograpically I love the border and the way it interweaves both under and over Jeannie

So cute, I love the expression she has, she knows how loved she is. The pink border is great & I love how her paws cross the border. Makes me really want a dog (one day)

What a cute dog! She looks like she's full of spunk, ready for action! I like the border & how you have her feet popping thru it, only thing I might've done a little different was to have her tail pop out thru the border too, just my 2 cents though :)

she looks like an aussie shepherd/blue heeler mix. does she like to herd? she has a very sweet face! i like the border treatment- how she is stepping out- but the color pink isn't doing it for me. nice job!

wot a gorgeous dog .. i love that beautiful adoring expression .. how wonderful that you have another dog after that very sad and distressing experience with albert .. and i'm sure the pain will ease, especially seeing you have jeanie ... i know that one dog never replaces another, but the joy you get from having this lovely dog around should soften the pain of your loss ... it must'v made the whole thing heaps worse that you lost all your photographs of albert .. the one's you took from your camera phone are gorgeous ... :)

She doesn't look particularly grumpy to me, she looks cute and alert and her little lean is priceless! Great shot!

Leaning dog! Very sweet face and I love the photo. She looks like she might have some heeler in her.

I read the Albert story - That is so horrible. This is why I cannot ever have a dog again. After my last one died, I thought I'd never recover from it. That was in 1982. My heart goes out to you.
