Day 4 - Man Boobs
I'm so busy I'll have to recycle one.
The plan here was to take a couple of snaps of Bill sleeping. However as soon as the camera began to click he was up on his feet and with no more prologue than a 'Do you want to see me tatts ?' the orange T shirt was gone and Bill was waving his man boobs at the camera and giving us all a potted history of the development of his back and arms into one of the world's unsung artistic treasures. I could, of course, have said 'No' but I don't think it would have had any effect. Other than a stun gun I think the only effective deterrent might have been to say 'Oh, yes please Bill, I've always been an admirer of your body and wanted to get a closer look', but even this might not have worked. This picture is presented here purely for its anthropological value. I apologise to any persons of a sensitive disposition who may have been scarred for life.

Looking forward to welcoming the weekend and the ability to get outside and restock my dwindling bw photos. Hope to get some more interesting and diverse shots soon.

Day 5 - this is Olypia, at the shoot some guys thought it was Naomi Cambell, well, I didn't have the heaqrt to shatter their dream so I just nodded and said "yep you got it"

DAY 5 ..
6.19am saturday ...
thank you for your comments ... & critiques would be very welcome ...
i feel like apologising for this one because of the processing ... i've been told a bad photographer makes up for his 'mistakes' in photoshop, even so, i know my photography has been improving since being in dpc & i'm findin this b&w challenge very stretching ...
i am very busy and dont have time to 'set up' or look for shots so lately i've been having to shoot on the run ... i hope to have time to take better photographs and make comments in the next few day ...
there are some totally amazing, beautiful, interesting, different and exceptional photographs in this thread ...
i was going to put this in photographers comments, in the above image, but decided to put it in here as well ... hope you dont mind seeing two ...

I hope this is OK. I wanted to know what you think of this shot. I don't have time right now for another 30 day thing but I took this shot with black & White in mind and rather than start a new thread I thought I just might jump in for a comment or 2 if not that's cool I understand but thanks for looking. I will repay the kindness.

I would never enter this one in a challenge because I know it's not a DPC image. But I enjoyed playing around with it and I quite like the result. |
