Delectable darks. Harsh, gritty, gravelly, stormy - just words that just popped into my head as I viewed this.

i get the impression of movement in the pic. the clouds are going one way and the woman is going in the opposite direction. personally i'd like to see it a little less dark so that the coat does not blend in with the horizon.

Hey Nick - it's dark. :-)

Think you got enough comments? I love dark. I love contrast. I love wide angle. I'm not big on pretty girls, but hey, you can't win 'em all. (Actually, I don't mind pretty girls that look real - and she does.) I'd love to hire your lighting guy.

Totally amazing. The deep contrasts are just phenomenal. This is SUCH a moody image, I love all the dark shadows. You have a perfect image here. Uncomparable to any other!

I like the sky and the person but the overall photo seems a bit too dark for me.

Wow, love the framing to this! It really adds to the shot. This shot has a real surreal feel to it and that makes it really stand out. Love it!

I don't like this one as much as the first (which is ok since I really liked the first one). The very moody sky is again spectacular and orks to draw me to the main subject. There doesn't seem to be much detail in the water though and this leaves a dark, black wedge between the beach and the sky. The L foreground is somewhat distracting with the tracks drawing us out of the picture, and finally the casual and very sunny face seems somewhat contradictory to the overall moodiness. I'm being about as picky and harsh as I can hoping that this helps, overall I do like the shot and look forward to more. Again all of this is obviously just my opinion.

Now here's someone that put a little work into things :)

Wonderful dark and stormy mood, and the "widescreen" aspect (which bucket also uses a to great effect), is a fabulous choice.

I need to get myself a good wide-angle lens for shots like this. Although I'd also need to move somewhere that had landscape like this. lol.

Probably my favorite of this project so far.

Excellent image. Not to dark for my taste, the lighting is brilliant and the sky is magnificant.

Getting a bit too dark for my tastes (and I like dark photos), but I do like how the model is well lit and stands out from the background so nicely.

i love that the clouds are centering at and leading the viewer to her face. and agree with nick that i like how she's lit up by the sun, i like the presence of her shadow in the picture. beautiful dark tones again and i do like these dark borders, they make her stand out from the rest of the picture even more. i actually like quite much that you used these thick borders, well obviously i do, i use them a lot myself too.

Another trade mark image from you. Again, I love the dark tones throughout the image, as is really gives this image it magic. The cky is quite daunting, and quite gloomy, but really helps to give the image is magical appeal, that I love about your images.

I love shots where the subject is lit by the sun and there's a gloomy sky in the background!
I know that look, looks like you're in trouble ;)
