Yeah, that's the first time I'm eligible to vote. I got my American citizenship two years ago. |
Congrats...
I always make sure to vote. One of the reasons is my dad always told me if you don't vote you have no right to complain. |
Thank you Mark! :) My father used to tell me the same thing and I believe that. Also he used to tell me if I'm not sure who to vote for I should vote for the lesser of two evils. The system is never going to be perfect, and it will never please everyone, but we won't change the fact that someone is going to become a president anyway. |

It may not count depending on your state, but local and statewide initiatives and candidates are more likely to be affected if you decide not to vote.

I'm going to walk down to vote in a few minutes. I just decided today who to vote for. I'm very middle of the road and both candidates are pretty extreme to their respective sides. I agree with about half of each of them. lol |

They will have to pry your right to smoke weed from my cold, dead fingers. Wait. That doesn't work so well.
Our bongs! Our selves! Dangit. That sounds pro.
Just say no! There we go. Nancy was a peach.
I voted no so you are going to have to leave your bong at home Art when you come down to visit me. |

Requiring voter ID starting with 2013 elections was on the MN ballot - voted 'yes'. |

Already required here in Missouri. Either your voter registration card, or state Issued ID, must be brought with you. |

Lots of stories coming in about electronic voting machines doing extremely scrupulous things.
If only voting machines were as secure as slot machines. It's telling about how broken your system actually is when gambling is better secured than voting.

Did you know that while the program code that oversees the dropping of atomic bombs from the stealth bomber is available for government oversight, the program code that oversees the counting of ballots in Ohio is proprietary, and not subject to government oversight. Long live the private sector. |
