LOL! Don't take it too personally, Mae. The comma may have been induced by last night's meal :-) |
Those commas are coma-inducing?
R. |
ahh... now I get it. I didn't see any excessive commas, so I couldn't figure out the problem. :)

Highest average score I have ever given in a challenge. 24 images rated 7 or above. Most enjoyable challenge ever to vote on.
I am pretty confident that I was able to recognise about 4 or 5 of the usual suspects, but also sure I detected a few very good new players. Hope they stay on the dark side now that they have tasted blood. |

You missed your guess on mine. But, I'm honored by your error. =D |

Perhaps the usual suspect will be honored as well. |

I looked around, but I don't see the "reassign" button. I thought they installed one awhile ago...

You have rated 131 of 132 images (99%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 9 images (7%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.8244.
2 nines, 11 eights and 17 sevens.
This challenge was a blast on which to vote! I tried looking through someone else's eyes while voting on this one. I looked for stories, textures, mixtures, & feelings. I gave 7s, 8s, and 9s to photos that I wouldn't have looked twice at 2 years ago. I gave 7s, 8s to photos that I wouldn't have given 7s or 8s to in another challenge, yet suddenly they're more compelling and more interesting after viewing them from a different standpoint.
We need more challenges like this. :D

I did, thank you very much!!!
While I doubt I'll comment on everything (as you must have done), so far I've commented on more than half of those I've voted on. I'm really enjoying the creativity in this challenge! |

I consider the low fives to be the doldrums -- when the masses don't feel passionately one way or the other about your entry. Really I was hoping for a lower score. Comments are favorable though.
Time to start voting... |

I think it is more that comas are comma-inducing. Which, given your titles, might indicate your propensity toward food-induced comas? :-) |

There do exist instances where people issue compliments based not so much on reality, but rather on their personal preferences...it is in instances such as these that one must ponder the evidence and strive to establish exactly who was right.
I have received some rather "Not so nice" comments from a bevy of people over the years and surprisingly enought ... they were quite valid.

I think in general, abstract and "posthumous" images lend themselves more to interpretation, and demand an emotional response to be appreciated. For some people, it's just not worth the effort of introspection. I quite agree. There should me more.
How about a Shoot From the Hip challenge? |

Gosh...with so much international individuality and happiness abounding here at DPC.
I really think it's time for Posthumous to lead us in a...
Sing-A-Long
My apologies...I couldn't find an entirely French version.
