Sara, I got the point of the challenge (I think) but mine is not one I'd hang on my wall. I'm not embarassed by it - it's kinda cool - but it was definitely shot for the challenge. I did have fun doing it, too.

You most certainly will. However as much as I would love to post a few now, I cannot do so until after the landscape challenge is over and voted on, just in case I use one of these for it.

I never said I was getting paid a lot..LOL. One of the waterski schools has hired me a couple of times, and has me booked for july 31 and aug 8th as well.

It does not take long to burn up the frames when shooting action stuff at 5 or so frames per second. The problem becomes trying to edit them afterwords, when you have 40 shots that are almost the same. ;)

I think I want to try shooting Purple's flaming lemurs for a change!

I did FINALLY break out of my 6-less FS streak. This was also the third 6+ entry in a row breaking a streak of abysmal and truly mediocre offerings.

All in all, I'm a VERY happy camper!

Michelle, did you get your email yet from JPG? I just got mine now. They did NOT pick my image of the eagle. :(

I actually had one person comment "if this does not get published, none of them should". Oh well, I guess I am not JPG material, I thought this one had a shot.
