Speaking of food I can't eat, I'm making homemade strawberry ice cream for my wife's birthday party. Stupid allergies!

levyj413, I told my dentist recently about your toothbrush/cake episode, and he was horrified! It was hilarious!

meyers - what are the allergies ? I understand how bloody frustrating they can be though - my oldest son is allergic to dairy protein (anaphylaxis) as well as eggs (gastro reaction).

levy - what's the toothbrush story ?

Yeah, Jeffrey.....out with the toothbrush story!

You guys have forgotten the toothbrush story? Tut tut :)
06/28/2008 09:31:11 PM · #984
it involved eating chocolate with a toothbrush end, did it not?

Any Team Suckers around willing to give me an opinion or two, with the usual caveat of no voting, of course?

I'm here if you need a second opinion

Alan, I'll take you up on that - I need help with my meager options for Free Study as well. I'll PM you here in a bit. (As it is, I have to type while watching the TV - Euro 2008 and all...)

I haven't really connected much with fellow team suck members, but I wanted to say that after sitting out some challenges, I am thrilled to be entering the Free Study (only my 2nd time doing that) and I have something for the speed challenge too. I am really excited!

I searched back to when the Team Suckers were still in the Barn and found this:

I may have invented a new archetype for decadence.

I bought a piece of triple-chocolate cake and brought it back to my office. Then I realized I had no fork, knife, or anything else to use in the devouring of said cake.

But wait! I do still have this goody bag from a dentist appt. And it has a toothbrush in it!

Turns out the non-business end of a toothbrush makes a decent cake-shoveling tool.

But even I couldn't use the brush end. That would just be wrong. Plus I'd never be able to suck all the frosting out from between the bristles.

Good feedback on potential and no longer considered entries for "Green". They now reside in my portfolio but cannot be shown here due to outtake rules and such. :)

Ohhh, that toothbrush story...I think I sense a new suggestion for a challenge...

My Sin is inching back up to 5.4, still may make it back to its original glory of 5.7...and Single Line is surprisingly creeping up into 5.5 ish, might even crack 5.6! Oh the suspense is killing me!

***NOTE to all Canucks...don't forget the cops are out in force this long weekend...I got nabbed for a seatbelt infraction! $110 fine! And I was in the frckin passenger seat, holding a double handful of fresh-picked radishes and onions, in a car doing maybe 20km, driving a grand total of MAYBE 50 metres from a barn to a house (but on a public stretch of road). The driver got away cause she had her hands free so she got her belt on in time. I wasn't so lucky and as the cop was approaching my door I had little choice but to grin and bear it.

However while I watched, many other Oxford Millonians got ticketed too, so I'm not the only ticketed-off one (bwwahahahhahaha, I'm SOOOOO funny ;-) Then once the cops left guess what, NOBODY had a seatbelt on, I think I even saw some Britney impersonators cruise by with their kids gumming away on the dash. Go figure.

I went all the way to Atlantic City today (yes Deb, where the casinos are, lol) and wanted to take pictures of the windmills for Green. Problem is, where you could take pictures from it was so foggy you couldn't see the darn things. The only other place to take pictures from is the AC expressway (way dangerous, though I did pull over and think about it), but there were so many power lines running through them, it wasn't worth it. So no green entry from me either. And I lost $4 at the casino, lol! ;P

linky

I can't get my Light Bulb entry to upload 'cause it's pitching a hissy fit and won't send out a friggin' image file.

And it's even waaaaaaay small!!!!

EARTHLINK and EMBARQ suck!

.....and some jerk troll slammed me with a low enough vote on my Single line that it made a noticeable difference at 167 votes!

Inside the Tropicana casino, I at first didn't realize it wasn't an open area. The sky is painted on. I was wondering why those balloons just seemed to be hanging there.

Welll...I finally got the freakin' thing to upload.

And now I'm in overload.

I'm going to finish out Single Line in a few, got my Light Bulb entry uploaded, and have one for FS and Rural.

I'm going to bed.

A single entry from sherpet led TS scoring in the latest results. Congrats on getting 12th overall!
