Day 4. This was another lady at the flower show. She had a rather interesting character to her face.
edit:
Yes I think by trying to bring out more detail in her face I cast that charcoal look on her. The lighting was less than desireable and I don't think I had my camera right for the settings, this lady had such an interesting and characteristic face though I really wanted to use this photo.

more natural edit, the thing is I'm not happy with this one either. It does not show the detail that my first showed, but it does not have the charcoal looking face either....

Day 4: Faces of HOPE
Sorry I am behind on commenting...we were gone to the zoo for HOURS yesterday. My sister, my niece & nephew-in-law, their three girls, my three boys, and two stray boys (friends) came along so it was like a zoo in a zoo the whole time! I'm going through pics from there and from the Tyler Rose Garden, where I did some fun, impromptu portraits of my great-nieces. I'll catch up, I promise...it might be a day or two, though...so don't think I've abandoned y'all! ;)
