Day 6 "People out in the world. A great weekend, followed by a TERRIBLE Monday. I'm glad I stockpiled a few pics, because I'll be out of commission tomorrow while I replace the radiator and thermostat in my Jeep. Sigh...
Two pics, all happening at the same time. I really wish I could have gotten them in the same shot, but I didn't have time to change lenses. Maybe somewhere there is a shot of me shooting the second guy, who is shooting the group, being shot by the guy in the first pic... I'm confused now. Never mind.

Day 4 - The Nest
I'm behind a day. But in my defense, they saw me get this shot and I've been hiding ever since. The only person who can stop an angry clown is Chuck Norris, and he's been unhappy with me ever since I spread all those rumors about him last July ("50 Days").
...and no that is not a shameless attempt to get people to look through my portfolio. |

Camera should be back this afternoon, my wife will be home to get it from fedex :) Then off to try and get into one of this evenings challenges and hopefully get a macro or close up to boot for this.... Im so excited :) I have been lost without my little friend....

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.
Someone asked about chalkaholic filters but I haven't used them, I've just been copying a new layer, find edges, layer mask, and then just bringing the images back through with lots of low opacity (about 15%) brushstrokes, the lots of d&b and saturation brush.
A couple of other people asked about oversharpening - but I didn't sharpen much and they look okay from here - but it may be the lines from the find edges that make them look oversharpened.

Portraits & Stories Day 5: Jess III
Thanks to everyone so far who has commented on my prior two posts. Taking your advice I have softened, cloned, blurred, dewrinkled, defrazzled and cropped. Unfortunately I can't get her arms to reappear or her legs to smoothly vanish, however I think this is looking much better. C&C welcome!

Moments Captured
Hi Everyone! I'm baaaaaack! Whew! I had some out of town friends visiting and I didn't even log on to my computer for days and days. I missed you guys :) I think I captured some moments tho, so here's my first one, and now I'm off to enjoy everyone elses that I've missed. Woo Hooo!
