I buy this stuff by the gallon from a Haitian witchdoctor and drink it whenever I need some inspiration. ;-)

Some color shifting, a couple overlays and gradient, a little of this a little of that.

The "smoke" really adds to the shot, I think

I'll take a dozen to start thanks. If I agree to buy more, can the witchdoctor throw in "Inspiration in a Can" for free?

That is quite the photoshoppin' job you did there - those purple tones are fantastic. I think I could go for a couple quarts of that stuff right now.

Yes! I LOOOOVE those purples -- and the original looks awesome too. But your processing!!! It is to die for and is killing me with inadequacy!!!

Love it - love the colours and the clean shiny tin.

May have considered a little more head room and room on the left - but no big deal.

This is still a strong and striking shot.

I need some inspiration, but I think I'll pass on this stuff...looks to rot gut for me. As far as the picture goes, I like it and especially like the cool tones, but I would like to have more space at the top and maybe fading to dark above the flames...

You know the original is quite good on its own. Would like to see a picture of the background and table top. I really like the metallic coating...

Damn - "Light my Fire" by the Doors immediately came to mind. I love all of the magenta and purple hues. What great pop art!! (no pun intended)

i have been increasingly of the opinion that you are a total weirdo, but i wondered if you ever had any 'outside' help .. this answers my question .. !! ..
BRILLIANT photograph ... love your processing ...
ps .. i thought in your comment you said 'some colour shitting' .. and before i realised my error i thought your brew might be to blame ..
silly me .. :)

Dang. Very impressive. I'm speechless at the difference of what a little of "this and that" can make. Do they sell that at the hardware store too?

I'm with you Kelli, Purple is my favorite colour too. Well done Art, as usual your skills make me feel like I should give up trying. Or find a way to steal someone elses talent, always a pleasure to look at your work oh masterful one!

Is that like 500 hour energy drink? I think that's illegal in most civilised countries.
