Ok I'm back. I really wanted to add only new shots to this challenge but I haven't been able to shoot much lately and the weather has been miserable.
This is my week 10 and 11. I hope to do some catch-up soon. For tonight I'm going to comment on as many shots as I can.

The first shot is a landscape version of my "Warm Colors" entry. I was actually shooting with this challenge in mind. I think I like the B&W better than the color. But that's usually my pre-disposition. |

Wow. I didn't realize that I was 4 weeks behind. I should get caught up, on photos, to week 14 today and I'll make a considerable effort to catch up on comments throughout this week.

Hey, I appreciate all of the people making the effort to catch up on the comments. I am going to be traveling for awhile, so I probably will not be commenting or posting for a couple of weeks. On the flip side, I hope to have some good photos when I get back!

Well, I live here in Brazil. So, I am just going to be traveling around the Amazon a bit... hanging out on a boat going up and down the Xingu River (a tributary of the Amazon).

Nice shots here!
I used to shot in B&W film and develop them myself in a home made dark room. How do you confirm the correct white balance for B&W, during the shooting with the digital cameras? Are there any tips?

WOW! so many comments and submissions to catch up on!
Am just back from my holiday on the Isle of Mull and hope to have a few B&W shots for you all during the week and, of course, catch up on some commenting.
Sadly Mull is mainly a black spot for connectivity so only got the odd update on my March FS - thanks for all the B&W'ers that left comments on my second ribbon, PB and first 7+ score! (selective desat is almost B&W lol) |
