Excellent job on the B&W conversion. I find this humorous because there is no price posted yet there gas pumps as still chained up.

I love the route 66 shots. Living in St Louis we had the route run right through town. We have Ted Drewes frozen custard, Coral Courts Motel(among others), Route 66 Drive-In Theater and many more. Not many left anymore but still a major part of the area and it's history. I have shots from the old Route 66 Bridge across the Mississippi river and even Route 66 State Park. I have been wanting to take the old mother road to California(what parts are left that is), maybe some day. Thanks for the pic, always bring a smile to my face!

Wonderful capture! Really shows the essence of a time gone by - especially the chains. They signify to me that the time has passed, and is locked from retrieval.

that would be cool if they still worked but they seemed all chained up. I hope to take that road one day! I like the slightly shallow DoF to set the two pumps apart.
