My style is blaringly obvious (at least to me). :-) It's all about PEOPLE, CANDIDS and COLOR. I just love catching someone's personality in a picture.

I think I am seeing a trend here, especially with my most recent work.

Macpapas-
Your work has alot of golden tones in it, like sunset or sunlit lighting, very very nice, professional looking.

Before I even saw these photos, just seeing your name with this thread, I thought "eyes." Your style is all about the eyes!

I don't have a style! I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I guess it says something for versatility!

Oh another thread to show off photos. :) Hmmm, I don't know if I have a style. Is oversharpen a style? I get that a lot as comments.

I must like style a lot because I like almost everything in this thread. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my style seems to have something to do with "bizarre" self portraits where I am consuming (eating, drinking, inhaling) something or at least somehow related. I guess I have an addictive personality. :)

Seriously though... I think I have a range of a few styles I like to use based on the subject matter although I am sure there are trends seen throughout my work.

Man all of you have such great STYLE. Well Done! I can't wait until I have amassed enough knowledge and shutter clicks to have a style.
Soon Come!
Thanks everyone for sharing your time and talent with me.

It's very interesting to see what photographers think of their own work and style. I am rather surprised to see what some of you have picked as a demonstration of your style.
I agree with you JPR that you have a range of styles, the bizarre portraits are just one part of your amazing creativity. The other parts include strong sense of space, dynamics and light. But what I like most about your style in general is the restless search for something new and the unexpected, explore the world with your eyes wide open. Something that most of us here on DPC could learn from.

Wow guys--very nice seeing your stuff in your chosen grouping, styles are obvious.
My style could probably be condensed to using interesting outdoor light, usually near dusk. None of these are challenge entries. When I'm home it is very recognizable:

I'm still trying to find my style, but I like to keep things as natural as possible- ie not messing with the color too much or making it look too perfect. I do mess around with editing at times just to see how it looks. I don't do well on challenges either but I'm making a name for myself around town here. I'm entering one contest locally and looking at a couple others. Two restuarants have one of my photos hanging up- I didn't make any money for that but it has my name on it and is for sale lol. A few other people have looked and I have a couple professional friends that have spread the word.
Anyhow, for some reason I am not able to attach thumbnails or pictures here lately so you'll have to deal with links.

I have no style. Just talent. Okay scratch that one. I have no style, but find I like what I shoot, which would be defined as:
Walk out the front door. Look around and enjoy life. Shoot. Edit. Share.
If I had a style it would be more an attitude. An optimistic outlook on life and beauty.
Looking at this selection I suppose: Nature, Outdoor-ism, Colors all define what my style is.

most of my work is kept at deviantArt because I'm too cheap to pay for webspace. Here's a few links that represent my style.

Still working on trying to develop my own style. It's weird in that I know what I like... it's just that I can seem to produce it in my pictures. |

OK. I will. Your style is keeping yourself open to taking a picture at just the right moment, to capture a fleeting image, or an accidental opportunity.
Your style goes for sharp detail or soft blurriness.
Your style loves to explore and experiment.
Obivously I think it's pretty neat!
I'm still working on my style. But I feel it's developing.
