It's funny that isn't it. I can't remember where the page is, but it was linked to in another forum recently, and the two most viewed photos on the site (with several thousand more views than the next highest) are DRjones specials - one of which was well outside the ribbons. Both are terrific images (as is yours), but somehow I don't think that entirely explains this phenomena. |

Oh, and so as not to hi-jack the thread... my most viewed photo (not counting views during the challenge, is this one, 
Now if every single person who reads this thread clicks on that photo, and gets all their friends to do the same... It'll still have several thousand less views than most of the images in this thread :P. |

This (non-challenge) one has received more views than most of my challenge entries. Perhaps because it's classified as nude.

Of course, this is from a guy that has never gotten a ribbon... someone in a thread said (I think)a ribbon is worth about 3,000 hits +/- and a top ten finish is worth about 500 hits +/-.
Hmmm, I just noticed that my top three shots are all B&W... I don't know if that means anything or not.

Non-challenge entries don't even come close, even when looking only at views since voting. My top three are:
 - 423 views
 - 295 views
 - 252 views

My only top 10 (5th) and highest rated photo has only got 328 views since voting. So the theory of top 10 gets you 500+ views, doesn't seem to hold true. :)

although i have a feeling that my entry for the "landmark" challenge will prob beat these guys out. it's a shame coz my landmark entry is extremely trite and pedantic (but i figured i'd try to win a ribbon at least once :) |
