Week 04 - Studebakerby KenComment: Very good. Made it even better when you caught it in the museum - that could not have made for optimal lighting conditions.

Henna by AliciaComment: I like it. although the hands themselves took a bit to white. Perhaps this was intentional - not sure. |

Graveyardby kolasiComment: I like it. I get the feel that the cemetery looks like it has been crowded into the city. Every tomstone seems to close with so little room. Creates a neat "city" effect.

01 Misty Flightby SandyPComment: I love it. You did a great job with this one. My only "complaint" is that the bird is too centered in the image. There is also what looks like a series of line on the right behind the bird, I guess it is a wave crashing, but it seems a bit distracting as it does not come out clearly as a wave. |

Warehouse Door Detailby BAMartinComment: I find myself conflicted by the image. The B/W works well, but I have almost two images - which door should I look to? I have a hard time looking at them as a linked pair. The door on the left with the electrical wires look like it is missing a loading dock. So something changed over time. That could be a story in itself. The door in the right I think need an anchor. I feel the need for something to link it to the ground. A loading dock? A road? Just something. A full image of it by itself might work for me. Having only part of the door also weakens the image for me. |

4-Ebony&Ivory--002-V4.jpgby 777STANComment: I took a look over at your blog and definitely like the b/w version much better than the color one. Good composition and the smile are great. I do have to agree with the others the "Ivory" is a bit washed out. I don't see that in your origainl image - so should not be too hard to fix up. |

frozen pondby VeioletsComment: I do think this worked well. I like the "clash/contrast" of the vertical and diagonal lines in the image. |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment: I like the concept - it seems a bit grainy in a way that does not serve the image well. I'd like to see the details - handheld? high ISO setting? I would be hard to get a tripod set up on the metro platform most of the time. |

_DSC2308-Nina-1-n.jpgby pawdrixComment: I like it. I like the expression on her face and b/w does a good job here. I would think about cropping just a bit off on the right so she is not dead center in the image. You can't do much there - would be even better if you could get a bit more space in the left - in the direction she is looking. At the same time I don't want you to lose the close up nature of the image. |
