this is a good concept for this challenge... I like the use of the pencil :) I think two elements could possibly improve this shot as well... 1 - a little more light on the pinwheel to offer some higher level of contrast against the background... 2 - possibly a darker background to make the pinwheel stand out more as well.... good shot :) - jmsetzler

This is a really great concept for this challenge. This reminds me quite a bit of the MC Escher stuff... My only complaint about this image is that the desaturation did not work well overall. There is still some yellow left in the skin that makes it look awkward. With this in mind, I would possibly have tried another avenue of post processing... (just my opinion though :) ) Good shot! = 7 - jmsetzler

beautiful concept :) This is a really nice idea for this challenge. I love the color (or lack thereof) and the contrast in this image. I think a neat enhancement to this image would have been to tint the water a very light shade of green or blue with some food coloring... I'm not really sure, but i think that could have been a nice minor modification that would have created an even higher sense of 'wow' in this photo :) Great shot... = 9 - jmsetzler

I see the pencil :) The overall impact of this photo doesn't really grab me. It meets the challenge because the pencil is in the photo. I believe that a more creative use of the pencil would work better :) - jmsetzler
