| I think this would have been a bit more amusing if the pencil were actually hidden to be able to "find". The lighting on this is great. no distracting shadows or bright spots. Did you do some post editing to color? The orange/red on the sides looks a bit overdone. That could have been an upload thing though. The angle is good and the positioning is a bit too far to the left. Good luck in the challenge. |

| This picture is a little too flat for me and having the shirt centered in the middle of the picture doesn't do much for me. I think it would have appealed more if the shirt was in a different position instead of flat on the carpet (maybe laying the grass with footballs around it?). I also would have liked a bigger challenge to find the pencil - perhaps if it was set along a seam of the shirt instead of across the collar. Good lighting and focus and meets the challenge = 5 |

| I see the pencil :) The overall impact of this photo doesn't really grab me. It meets the challenge because the pencil is in the photo. I believe that a more creative use of the pencil would work better :) - jmsetzler |

| Nice lighting and I like the texture on the rug... However, the pencil looks like it was addedd to make the picture of the jersey fit the challenge... This isn't so much a photo of a pencil with a jersey in it as it is a photo of a jersey with a pencil in it... I'm considering giving you a sympathy point since the Broncos looked so bad last night against the 49ers and this might be the highpoint of your season... PS ~ My wife (a Bronco fan) says the old uniform was much better... |

This is a graphical composition, the shape of the shirt is bold and so is the colour. I think the carpet beneath it detracts hugely from the shot in terms of colour and texture (though perhaps texture might be OK if the colour was different). Perhaps because of the pink carpet, it doesn't appeal to me visually.

| This would have worked much better with a stark black, red, or white background. Pretty innovative though. Good idea. |
