excellent and different process kelly .. love that really weird background .. i cant think properly right now coz our smelly dog is outside barking like a maniac ... i know wot she's barking at so i know i dont have to respond ... her bark demands attention a lot like a baby crying .. its just a total pain .. i wish she'd STOP !!!
i just installed CS3 YESTERDAY!!! ... if you're going from elements to CS3 it'll be like WOW ... i started on 7 which my nephew gave me, then another friend, bob, gave me CS which is 8 ... then when he got CS2 he gave me that, which was so much better than 8 .. he sent me CS3 which i installed yesterday and had a quick muck around with ..
there are so many improvements just from CS to CS2 ... so you will be totally over the moon with the how easy some things are now ..
thankyou so much kelly for all your wonderful comments .. i'm very flattered, when i consider some of the excellent images that ppl have been coming up with in our 50 day side that you made a first fav of one of mine ..
i'm hoping you get that yappie coz you totally deserve it!!! ... it sounds like i'm making a sarcastic and horrible comment .. like 'you deserve it'!!! .. and 'yappie'!!! .. who other than a dpc person would think that that's a good thing ??!! :):)

happy birthday .. !!! .. great shot .. just love your cheeky expression .. you have gorgeous eyes .. this photograph reminds me of about a gazillion that my daughter has taken of herself and her friends .. you actually look quite similar to her .. she turns 19 on 1st december this year .. she's also a blond and extremely lovely .. :):)

sorry but i'v missed some of your story .. is it you or your car getting the recall check ??!!. this is a great shot for capturing a very univeral image .. this looks very like the place i used to take my car to called mcgraths at liverpool, which is just southwest of sydney .. i say 'used to' coz i stopped taking it there when i realised they were really ripping me of, saying things needed to be done when they didnt etc etc .. i actually voided the 3 year warranty by not taking it back which caused me a bit'v worry because it wasnt a new car .. fortunately it hasnt given me any more problems than a 10 year old car usually would .. after saying all that i realise that this photograph of yours might actually be a hospital !!!! ... lol .. well not lol about being a hospital, but that i might'v got it totally wrong ..

yep, explanations can ruin a natural ability i reckon .. there are so many rules, apparently, for photographers to go by .. like rule of thirds, dont shoot into the sun, dont over or underexpose, focus etc etc etc .. i try not to listen coz i personally feel its when you break the rules is when you get something totally awesome .. of course i'm still waiting for my photographs to be awesome .. !!! ... hmmmm maybe i should obey just a few of those rules??.. thing is i'd have to check out wot those rules actually are .. the one's i've mentioned above are just wot i've heard in passing i've never actually done any study of the subject .. hmmm again .. MAYBE I SHOULD !!!
i've never never liked posed shots .. probably a hang over from when i was a child and my father was always getting us to pose .. me being the shy little thing hated it .. i just love candid where the people dont know they are being photographed ..

firstly apologise to cassie from me for calling her polly by mistake .. it must have been because i had very cold fingers, like right now, and it was an inadvertant typo !!!...
hmmmmm jon .. also just thought i might mention that one of the rules for our challenges is that your photograph must be "taken and post-processed by you. Someone else may press the shutter button if you set up the shot and the camera settings. No one else may post-process your entry for you. Exceptions must be approved by the Site Council in advance."
this rule is obviously put in place to spare us from the negative feelings you are currently going thru, ie. "7 comments and none for my shot, man those kids are going to see a different side of me tomorrow....little brats!!!!" ..
tell daisy that i love her composition, it shows originality and talent .. and i wont go on with more praise coz you may find it harrowing to listen to .. is it at all possible for you to pass on my abbreviated comment without hearing it yourself ?? ..i certainly dont want to add to your feelings of inadequacy!!! lol ... :):)

ahha ... a roadrunner ... i've been a fan of the bugs bunny show since i was a kid .. one of my fav characters was the road runner and the coyote, of course ... anyway i've never actually seen a real roadrunner before, just the cartoon ... I CAN SEE THE RESEMBLANCE !!! :):).. really liked sylvester, daffy, bugs etc etc .. and tweety ... i have tweety saying 'i tort i tor a putty tatt' as the message alert tone on my mobile/cell phone .. !!:) ..
