 This is a yellow rose that is growing in one of my neighbours gardens. Polly took this shot having had the most simplist of explanations of macros from her uncle before she left the house

I love the colour and the fact that she has captured the raindrops so clearly on the petals

For me, it's between this and the candid of Cassie. Which do I like better? I can't say -- one is a b&w candid and this is a colorful flower. Apples and oranges and both good examples of their type.

Wonderful color, very clear, the droplets look placed, they are so perfect! (and if she placed those, I will be feeling quite lame here!)

The clarity is magnificent! I might do a tighter crop, but other than that this is first class material. Absolutely beautiful. Polly must have the hand of steel.

Well, congratulations to Polly! Many people never get this detail, and the colors are superb. I don't mind the crop, though it does seem a tad overexposed on the top. Nevertheless, quite impressive!

This photo is bright, crisp and loaded with wonderful detail. I love the placement of the rose against the beautiful green of the leaves. I especially love the drops of water, captured so elegantly.
